shardbond[To be honest, delivering the invitations is probably the part of this party that took the most effort.
Wherever you might be living now, one day when you wake up there will be a folded piece of paper slipped under your door... or your tent flap, or whatever sort of entrance to your domicile that you might have. (It took him quite a while to track all of you down!!)
On the front is a date and time, and on the inside is a note in a handwriting that should be familiar to everyone by now:
REUNION AT THE BASE
Bring yourself and anyone else you'd like
Food and drinks [The underline beneath that word should give away the sender even before they reach the name at the bottom of the invitation] provided
Good time NOT optional

As for Oscar himself? He's already gone, because there's food to be cooked, decorations to be hung up, and booze to be acquired.
And he's going to be doing all three things in spades, so by the time people arrive, they'll find an entire table piled high with assorted types of food, another with a multitude of different drink options (including soda for the kiddies), and various and sundry decorations strung up around the room.
But as busy as the host may be, he's not too busy to greet all of the arrivals with a cheerful:]
Yo! Long time no see! How've you been?
[... unless you're Void Archives, in which case he will be notably less cheerful, but. It's fine.]
